The wall of Lugo embraces the whole of the old town and can be covered in its entirety by its adarve, a promenade elevated above it, which is 12 metres above the ground. During the day it is the best viewpoint over the old town; at night, thanks to a discreet lighting, it is a poetic walk with a lot of mystery.
The traveller who comes to Lugo can also enjoy important heritage resources from the Roman period: the archaeological remains in the Casa de los Mosaicos, the Provincial Museum, the Interpretation Centre of the Wall, the Archaeological Centre of San Roque, the Porta Miñá Exhibition Hall, the Roman Baths and the Sanctuary of Santa Eulalia de Bóveda. It is also essential to visit the majestic Cathedral of Santa Maria, which has the privilege of the permanent exhibition of the Blessed Sacrament.
